1. WHERE THE F*** DO I START?
In this project, we were instructed to gather 256 images and separate them into categories. The final form of this project was making one print form and one digital form using the 256 images. For the print form, I often don’t know where to begin when starting a project, so I made a mood board book with most of the images on the front and typed in what I liked about the image on the back. Each image can be ripped out and has a hole punch on the corner to be put into book rings to prevent them from getting lost.

Creating something spontaneously can be challenging, so for the digital format, I developed a randomizer. The tool generates three images along with a prompt, encouraging immediate creativity. My goal was to explore the aesthetic of the early internet, particularly the unexpected nature of random pop-up windows, which adds an element of surprise and nostalgia to the experience.
